The Beginning
Born from Frustration
Nora Cosmetics started where every great brand starts: with a real problem. As a young Botswana woman, Nora McAslin struggled to find premium beauty products designed for African skin, available locally, and priced fairly. The international brands were either too expensive or too generic. So she built what she couldn't find — and now serves women across Botswana from outlets in Gaborone, Francistown, Palapye, Maun and beyond.

Nora believes every Botswana woman deserves products formulated for her skin, her climate, her culture. From the Pressed Powder Foundation in four shades of melanin to the Gel Eyeliner that holds through Gaborone summers — every Nora product is born from women, for women, made here at home.

This brand started because I couldn't find what I needed. Six years later, we have outlets across Botswana, certified makeup artists in every region, and customers who text me their wedding photos to show me what we built together.
There's so much more coming — new products, new outlets, new ways to make you feel as beautiful as you already are.
But the heart never changes: Nora is for us. By us. Made with intention, always.
